CLHS provides a number of professional resources, including publications and affiliations with organizations that are dedicated to providing support and services for educators and students. The Resources section of the CLHS website is your direct link to the following tools and materials.

League Links

Are you involved in middle level education? Sign up now for League Links — the new, free electronic information service built just for you. League Links is an opt-in service provided by CLHS that arrives in your e-mail inbox and keeps you up to date on what's happening in middle level education in California. You'll get:

  • Emailed issues of the CLHS eNewsletter — timely, useful information on middle grades educators, resources, strategies, curriculum, assessment, professional development, curriculum and instruction, plus great stories from real-world educators
  • Legislative Updates prepared by a professional education analyst and e-mailed to League Links members whenever crucial education-related legislative events occur. Updates are usually sent within 48 to 72 hours of newsworthy events.

High School Educator
CLHS members receive printed copies of the High School Educator at their home or school, which highlights education and legislative news and provides educators with the opportunity to publish original articles. Members and non-members registered through League Links receive email copies the High School Educator.

Corporate Members and Strategic Partners
CLHS has developed professional relationships with many educational organizations as well as product and service providers throughout the state and nation. Companies that have joined CLHS as Corporate Members are featured on our website and typically exhibit at our conferences.


Funding Opportunities
The CDE and other organizations have a number of funding opportunities for specialized programs, school sites and districts.

Receive up to $3,000 in grant money from the NEA Foundation for the Improvement of Education (NFIE)! NFIE is offering grants to individuals and groups in the areas of Learning & Leadership and Innovation in public schools. For more information, go to www.nfie.org.
